mkz why now?

what is the point of the mkz? toyota and nissan have better performing v6 engines out. so why is flm just now coming out with this v6 and in the mkz? they can do so much better, but don't bother to. does anyone have the answer to that eternal question? i am a proud owner of a lincoln ls and very unhappy that they are turning their back on us loyal customers. i like the looks of the slightly remodeled zephyr, but it can be so much more fun if it had some badass v6 or even high output small block v8. why does lincoln also jack up prices when i can go by a better performing car for the same price or less? why why why???????????? does anyone at flm listen or are they run by the 70 yr olds that drive around in the town cars?

Why not? The Zephyr is selling pretty well, and the MKZ may further increase sales.
