Can I find out if my tansmission has been replaced by a previous owner

I just finished replacing my 5R55n on my 2000 Sport with a used transmission with 19K miles. When seperating the drive shaft from the tail shaft I noticed that the splines were flattened on the bolts. According to the manual you are supposed to hold the head of the bolt and turn the nuts. It appears that someone has been there before me and rounded the splines. If I post my VIN can someone give me a maintenance history on the car. Thanks

Oh, I have put 8 miles on the replacement tranny. So for so good. I have my fingers crossed.

Any Lincoln dealer can run an OASIS report and tell you if a Lincoln dealer did. Another option would match the trans serial number to the engine. Another dealer job.
