r they worth the money?

I'm sure others will disagree; but, no.

You alternator causes as much drag as it requires to operate your car, and will do so, even if underdriven (no change), and the power steering system only causes a lot of drag when turning the vehicle, and is also regulated. The AC should not even be considered because you can simply turn it off whenever it is not needed.

The accessory that causes the most drag is indeed the water pump. If you want to relieve the drag of the water pump without reducing your alternator's low rpm charging capabilities, just drop in an electric water pump and be done with it. It will improve your cooling as well.

Alright where do they sell the kit for the mark viii for the electric waterpump?

Posted by: driller

Summit Racing sells the Meziere electric water pump.

I have an unusual setup from most. I have the Steeda underdrive crank pulley, the Meziere electric water pump, a smaller alternator pulley to bring back the alternator rpms and a shorter belt.

That's good setup driller.

The Meziere is one of the best pumps, and Summit is a good source.
