keyless entry?

Hello, I was just wondering if I would be able to reset the keyless entry on my 1982 Mark VII. I bought it used and the people I bought it from had actually inherited it from a family member who passed away, i.e. they don't know the code. So if there is a way I can reset it myself that would be very helpful.

There is no such thing as a 1982 Mark VII...they didn't come around until 1984. If it actually is a Mark VII, then the code should be on right trunk lift arm. With that you shoudl be able to set your own code.

What year Mark VII do you have? Mark VII's were made from 1984 - 1992.

Hey, this is Travis, sorry about the wrong year of my Mark VII (brain fart), its actually a 1989 BB edition. Thank you JoshMcMadMac for the info I'm gonna try to reset the code right now.
