As a (to me) rather humorous side note; The Yugo engine was a Fiat design that was, essentially, thrown out by Fiat as being too unrealiable. When your engine is unsuitable for a Fiat....you have problems.

LOL I like the spare tire under the hood....Im sure it gets warm if you need to reach in and get it.....LOL that cant be good for the tire also....

Im going to bid 18,000 since Im selling my 02 LS V6 with add-ons next week....

You all laugh now but once I win the auction Im going to replace the stock Yugo motor with a 1300cc Suzuki GSXR1300 Hayabusa motor with NOS!

engine compartment-mounted spare! I think subaru had that feature first.

I remember back in '85 they did a road test/review on the then new yugo,on a show called Autoweek (only auto program on back then).The car was literally falling apart as they were testing it!!! The host of the show was doing commentary on the interior while he was fiddling with all of the controls inside the car when all of the sudden the wiper stalk fell off! Toward the end of the ten minutes or so of testing,one of the headlights popped out like in that movie Gung Ho;I was laughing my ass off at nine years old and probably still would today.

I know the first models came with a small tool kit like bmw's have because you had to go over all of the fasteners that were hand tightened!

Yeah a gixxer motor wacked out on nitrous wont need a first gear.
