I am trying to decipher our response, as Americans, to the 9/11 attack, and what I see are, attacks against our own country, by, ostensibly, our own countrymen.

Could any of you leftocrat geniuses explain this phenomenon to me?

I'm not a "leftocrat", but are you actually trying to say that our own government committed the 9/11 attacks?

No, I think he's asking about the manner that some Americans responded to the attack. For example, the people who repeatedly said "we deserved it" and rather than responding to that attack with force wanted us to try to negotiate a peace with....anyone who would listen.

Ah, yes. Those people. Yeah, idiots.

I may be wrong, but no one on this board has ever said we deserved it.
