Obviously, it's not something you want to do, but every now and then probably won't be fatal for the tranny. I wouldn't worry too much.
My experience is that the mileage calculator is fairly accurate. If you want to find out, follow the manual's procedures for calculating mileage by hand, then compare it with the computer's readout. It's possible that there were some conditions that led to abnormally low mileage readings for some time; just like any arithmetic mean, the lower it is, the long it'll take to go back up. You can reset to MPG computer, and you'll get a figure that's closer to what your car is really doing. The only way to keep the creases out of the leather is to stay off the seats, that's just a fact of life. I've heard recommendations ranging from regular use of leather conditioners to just letting the dang things age naturally, but the results both seem to be about the same over time... |

ive put 2000 miles on my LS in about a month... Some times when I turn my ignition key the car doesnt turn on, then I do it again and it turns on right away... Well today it happened twice in a row... I turned the ignition to turn the car on and it didnt then i attempted to do it again but didnt turn on. The third time it turned on right away... Is there a chance that it will get worse, is this a big issue, let me know |
