Some action from the Mason Dixon Dragway, March 11th...

Like a dumba$$, I forgot to switch the chip setting and ran the first run with the switch-chip in the stock setting. Good thing it was a Honda.

Stock setting against Honda.

Feeling cocky, I get my arse handed to me by a GM...

Loud Camaro.

With my tail between my legs, I line up against a Ford Lightning...

Lightning - Round 1

Then I try my hand at a Mustang 5.0...

Mustang 5.0.

Then the Lightning wants another piece of me, so I get the tires a little warmer...

Lightning - Round 2.

With one last chance to save face, I try on another 'stang...

Mustang - Round 2.

One and one with import and domestic. One and one with a supercharged Ford Lightning. One and one with the Mustang boys. Another run that didn't get filmed.

All in all, a good day. Mostly ran in the 13.8s.

Nice runs JP... that Mark is a beast.

Thanks!

With a new set of plugs, I was tuning my way through the day, adjusting tire pressure, then fuel pressure and when it ended up the last 4 runs came in at 13.82x. I was pleased.

What plugs are you running these days and have you ever tried to open up the gap with the after market coil packs?

I decided to go with the AWSFA12Cs this time. Had a hard time finding them on such a short notice. I received them UPS overnight the day before the track date. I didn't take the time to mod them, I just set the gap at 0.050 inches when I installed them the night before.
