Not happy with the Stock K member:

I sent a K Memeber to AJE a couple of weeks ago. I asked them to see if they can copy it, if it's different from the MN12 K members.

They called me back and said that indeed, the Mark VIII K Members are identical to the MN12 K members. Good news for those of us who want less flex on the front end. they are currently building me one, should see it in a couple/three weeks.

It isn't a bad deal, The K Member and 2 tubular LCA's for $978 shipped to me.

I am also working on Gen II Strut Tower braces. If the weather holds up, I'll take my Mark to a friend's shop in Salt Lake so he can do some "figuring" as he calls it.

I'll keep ya'll updated.

nice! whats the weight savings on that k member?
i might have to look into one of those next winter..

Dunno, to be honest with you.

But as soon as I get the new one, and I yank the engine out of the lincoln, I'll tell ya.

Or, I am sure the AJE people know as well...

AJE made that k-member long time ago.

Did they request the OEM subframe from you ? Weird ...

Posted by: Frogman

No, the didn't "request" one. Anthony said that he was pretty sure the MN12 K member worked, however he could not be 100%. I wanted to be on the safe side, so I sent him one.
