I found a set of 4 decent Probe wheels at the junkyard, my "snowflakes" look like @$#! So I was wondering, what is the opinion of these on a Mark? They are the 5 spoke version, with a slight twist to them. They're 16" x 7" with a 40mm offset. Any opinions?

maybe i'm not remembering right, but doesnt the probe have 5 on 4.5 boltcircle?

You are correct sir.

How wack is that. The Probe has the Mustang pattern and the Mark doesn't.

Time for a Rustang Bolt Pattern Conversion. It's easy and relatively cheap.

look at some Taurus rims, there are many more Tauruses made

the ones I found will convert, I looked at a parts manual that said they are 16x7 with 40 mm offset. But now I'll look again. Finding anything in Hawaii is an enormous pain in the A$$, especially wheels. Shipping them out here is unreasonable also. So I'm stuck with crummy, filthy, nasty snowflakes. I dont recommend moving to Hawaii unless you have a (puke) civic (gag) or (retch) camry (barf). Ricers abound here.

the wheel size and offset might be right, but they wont match up to the lugs on the car.

Cool, thanks for the heads up.
