Was woundering if there is a common problem with the 1999 cadillac STS involving the trunk release the gas release and the door opener. Also where can i find a complete wiring diagram for that year. Thanks in advance.

Problem is they don't work at all. Woundering if anyone could help.

Do you mean that none of those things work by the remote or by the buttons in the glove box or not at all?

Posted by: Gocasen

Nothing works by remote the relays are all good. I don't feel like rewireing the fricken car.

try changing the battery in your remote...

Not the remote opener. When was the gas opener on that and when was the garage door opener on that remote. The pieces in the dash.

So the buttons on the dash aren't functioning?Do you have any IPC codes stored in the diagnostics? Did you check for power at the switches? Did you try jumpering the relays to get the openers to work?

Jumped the relays. Gotta check for power. I think its there cause i thought once i heard the relays clicked. If someone had a BGB that would be a great help. So i could see the wiring diagrams. Anyone have any wiring diagrams on a pdf?
