eye brow problems

has anyone had problems with their eye brows sticking to the light?

if so what did you do to make them stick?

thanks

first thing is clean the lense with rubbing alcohol. Also try heating up the eyebrow with a hairdryer or heat gun to get the adhesive sticky.

You can always add a little krazy glue.

First of all the area should be cleaned and prepped as stated above. Also, conditions should be at least 60-70 degrees for it to adhere properly. A hairdryer to the headlight may help in colder climates. There may be times when the pointy parts of the eyebrow may not lay down since it is hard to get good adhesion to the corners. We suggest you use just a small dab of clear epoxy on the corners to allow them to bond to the headlight. This will not affect the headlight if you ever decide to take the eyebrows off.

I received mine from Ken and I'm waiting for a good warm day before I try to install them. Thanks Ken!

Any kind that you can find at an automotive or hardware store. Just make sure it is clear.

Posted by: lloydrage

are there different kinds of clear epoxy? (I dont mean brand names I mean different kinds)

There is but get one for ABS plastic. The only CLEAR two part epoxy that I have seen is for ABS plastic.

cool. I am assuming the directions come with. How hard is it to work with two part epoxy?

If you get the dispenser that has the two liquids side by side it's as easy as squirting on a piece of cardboard and mixing it up. Just apply a very small amount to the corners and press. Very simple.
