I saw this at the mall the other day, and I had to take a shot of it. It is hideous.

That person needs fishing line tied to their nutsack and the other end tied to a tree branch!

I checked with a salesman at a Lincoln dealership. He's been selling Lincolns for 20 years. He says that was an option that they sold. Much like the tops with that special covering on it.

Posted by: Black87LSC

I saw a red VIII lastnite with a tan vinyl half-top, it just didnt look right... Smaller quarter windows and everything...

My 1st car was a 50 club coupe. 239 with 3 on the tree. Let the young'ens on here figure that one out! ;-)

I'm loving it! Most folks wouldn't have a clue what a 352 is. Ask them what a Y-block is, or an FE and they just give you a blank stare! How about an oilbath aircleaner? Try to explain to a "young'en" that a Flathead has the valves in the block instead of the head & they think your pulling their leg!

I didn't start driving until I was a junior in HS, way back in 1981, but the 1950 club coupe was 1st followed up by a beautiful 1970 Mach 1 w/351 Cleveland 4V.

I guess I'm am Old'en in training!

That car is plain freakin ugly!!! What a horrible thing to do!!!

Posted by: shiryu0

at least they didnt put a spinner hubcap on it........lol

That WASN'T a Lincoln accessory - we even discouraged them from putting the vinyl and carriage tops on because of potential wind noise issues/rustout/etc....

The chronic, sad, disgusting thing about that is that a full size wheel for our cars WON'T EVEN FIT inside that monstrosity!

(it would look GREAT on a '73 Pantera though.....)
