2000 Seville crank sensors!!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Does anyone know the date when the crank sensors had been updated for the 2000 Seville. I have had two sets go bad. The first at 19,000 mi replaced under warranty. Now at 55,000 mi. The ones that just came out are GM #12559529 & #12559530 (Mexico) These seem to be the original design. The new ones were GM #12575481 & #12575482 (Japan). I need to know when the part was updated in order to see if they installed N.O.S. replacements the first time.

There is a TSB dated april 02 which addresses crank sensor problems and wants the tech to check the date code on the sensors and replace them if it is before 0276. The replacement sensors the TSB specifies are 12559529 and 12559530 which are the sensors in your car. Maybe they updated sensors again but there was only one TSB . Hope this helps!
