Well the time that I never thought would come... has arrived. In the next month I will be selling my pride and joy Mark. Looking to get my hands on a LS or X-type to keep me out of trouble from this beast Mark VIII. LOL.

The car is in Excellent condition and runs great. It has 112,xxx Miles and has been maintained well. It is an excellent daily driver and definently has some nice power behind it, if you feel like having some fun.

Here is a list of modifications and uprgades which I have added.

1995 Lincoln Mark VIII - Black on Black. 112,xxx Miles.

Drivetrain :

- 2.5" Dual exhaust with a single X-pipe w/ Magnaflow SS mufflers.
- Rebuilt transmission at about 70,xxxx miles /w a Baumann shift kit for nice firm shifts and added longevity of the trans.
- New 255 Walbro Fuel pump w/ LMS adjustable fuel pressure regulator. (Fuel filter also has been replaced.)
- New upper ball joints and bushings. (02/18/06)
- New Autolite AWSF 22c Spark plugs, gapped at .048 (02/18/06)
- MSD Spark plug wires.
- K&N conical filter.
- Modified throttle body tube /w new throttle body gasket ring.
- New idler pully /w Gatorback serpentine belt.
- New PCV valve.
- New Radiator
- B&M Super cooler Transmission cooler.
- New battery and alternator. (Replaced early of last month.)

Exterior:

- Cobra R Hood, custom made for the Mark VIII.
- Shaved emblems off front and rear bumpers for clean look.
- Custom Ram Air inlet on front bumper for a custom Ram Air/Cold air intake setup. (Ideal setup for a SC.)
- Lowering switch, located in center console, for an ultimate "slammed" look.

Interior:

- Eclipse CD player

I'm asking $5,500 obo. As many of you already know, these cars are worth well more than they are to private owners like us. It is an all in all fabulous car and I'll gaurentee you never get sick of driving it. I'm located in Chicago, Illinois and the car has always been garage kept. I'll throw new tires on if needed. For any information, you could either leave me a private message on LvC,give me a call at (773)410-7970 and ask for Jon, or send me an email at Klubber21@aim.com . I'll keep this updated on a daily basis. Thanks for your time guys. Jon.

New pics will be added in a few days.

You better not pick up some Hondyuck, Toypukea, Nice$hitan, Misapieceof$hit Ricer Dog!!! LOL..

Posted by: nobodyspecial

Did it pass emissions last time around in Illinois and how loud is it?

Posted by: StraDog

It passed emissions with flying colors. The Magnaflows give it a nice DEEP sound. Not loud at all, but when you get on it, it sounds NICE! Not a Flowmaster sound at all, but an exotic deep sound.

LOL Rich, I will prolly be pickin up a nice CTS possibly and work with that. No rice for me.

Posted by: nobodyspecial

Ok, I am in the far Northwest suburbs. PM me (or post) your location if you would and we can set up a time I can take a look at it.

Almost did tonight but turned down the deals because, well the car wasn't like a Lincoln. I guess I am spoiled.

Posted by: StraDog

Just put 4 new 225/60/16 tires on this morning. Car rides awesome.

New pics will be up this weekend, have a few people coming by to check it out. This morning the car was spotless, now it's filthy from the snow/hail/rain/ highway driving.

Posted by: 94m5

I'm still waiting for a phone call jon. I would like to come up tomorrow to look at it if your free.

Mike

What the hell is a hood spoiler, and why the hell are you in dudes "for sale" thread asking about them?

I think he forgot the "," in between hood and spoiler. Plus it never hurts to give a bump to a fellow enthusiast from Illinois.

LoL, Good point, Nobody...

Well guys as of a few days now, the car has been SOLD. Didn't take much advertising at all, figuring this was the only place I did. I will be delivering the car this weekend to a good friend of Mike's, aka 94m5. I know it will be taken care of and be well maintained. So watch out for a nice 95' coming along soon.

I will definently be missing this car, but it's time and with a new car to take care of and pay, it's difficult to do both. What a wonderful car the Mark VIII is, definently had alot of fun times with it. I will for sure be stickin around here and postin' regularly.

Wednesday night I picked up a 2006 300 Touring. The car is abosulately beautiful. I love it, but I know it doesn't have the power of the Mark I already added a chrome grill from Chrysler and many more add on's to come soon. Sunroof is being put on Monday. along with more mesh and chrome. 20's will be replacing the stock 17's in a bit. Here are a few pics of the ride.

And again, thanks for all your time and help. This is one strong site, which won't be going anywhere for many many years to come.

New ride as of 03/28/06: 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring

Congrats stradog

Posted by: StraDog

Thanks pep... The car rides great. Already added the stainless steel b pillars on the doors. I prolly will be buying something new for it every weekend... haha.

They got a hot set of angel eyes for it, jumpin on those soon, along with some hid's.

Posted by: pepperman

Contact GrayGhost1 he sells alot of stuff for the LS

Posted by: mark0101

thats a really nice 300. If you can tell me about how much are you paying to get the sunroof in? I would like to get it for my town car but I am affarid that it might start leaking water when it rains.

Posted by: StraDog

I'm having the sunroof done on Monday I believe. I think it was close to $900.00 for a totaly professional job. The company is VERY well known and does an excellent job. I don't by chance have the name of it right now, my dad knows. I'll post the name of the co. and any other info I could get. I'll post pics once it's done. I'm dropping the keys off on Sunday night, they're starting on it first thing Monday Morning, and said it will be done Tuesday afternoon.

Stay tuned for a wicked 300 being built. Slowly but surely it will be lookin one of a kind soon.

Posted by: MKVIIRIP

Damn, that mark looks nice, too bad ya sold it already cuz im actually going to chicago this july 1st. in my friends 93 mark. the only reason im sooo damn upset is that i found out that my 95 had been wrecked some time before i bought it. not severely but somewhat and the people did a crappy job putting it back together. anyhow the guy didnt maintain it well and all sorts of problems are creeping up on me. so i guess imma get the mark VII running for now and drive it while i completely rebuild the VIII. how much was that cobra r hood? also how did you put that scoop in the bumper? i know i could look on LMS but im not gonna right now. oh well good luck with the 300C.
