See below on how to tell if your headlights have the grey or not. As for the black, the headlights do not not come apart very easily. The black sealant is not affected by heat like the grey sealant is so the only way to get the headlight apart with the black sealant is to dremel the headlight apart. I can't recommend doing that either.

What size are the rings in this kit? What type of epoxy do you recommend?

I'd have to measure the ring later this evening. As for epoxy any clear epoxy will do but clear silicone is actually better. It won't turn yellow over time like epoxy. The one advantage that epoxy has over silicone is that it sets up a lot faster.
