That thingy between the headlight :))

See that square inbetween the headlights? On just about every Lincoln here I've seen has had them fallen/busted off - what the hell is with that?! Mine fell off and I wanna replace it - but I can't find one or when I do - I try to take it off and crack - busted...

I don't really want to get a whole assy. just for that one piece - someone out there has had to take one off already...Mind sharing the info?

As far as I know it is attached to the chrome strip that surrounds the Headlights. Best way to get one in one piece is to just get the whole chrome strip with the Center Lincoln Reflector.

But, if you really just want the reflector hmmmmm.....It is held on With I beleive a type of glue (don't know what kind) You may be able to melt the glue off and it may fall right off the housing. But you may have burn marks on the reflector afterwards.

Or you could try a bobby pin, I take off bike reflectors with pins sometimes by putting the pin in between the seal and housing of the reflector and scrape at it until the adhesive/glue comes off, and the reflector pops right off. May be worth a try.

yea, it is one piece with the chrome - but the problem with that are the Junk Yard cars here in MI don't have that chrome all nice n' stuff like my car is! That's why I don't wanna swap out the whole assy.

Also - is there suposto be a light in there or is the hole just in there for s-n-giggles on ford's part? Both of mine has holes - I just can't find a darn harness/connector that'll run to that!

Thanks for the help!!

No there is not supposed to be a light in it. I have seen the hole to. It hink Ford may have thought about putting a light in it but never did at the last minute. It's just a reflector for decoration.

Dude!!! You found my sig pic!!!LOL

I have never seen a Town Car without those emblems... If you DO replace them, make sure you get the right ones. They were made clear(Signature I think), and black ones(Base and Executive)

The passenger side one is clear with the outer edge/lincoln symbol outlined in black..

(It's a Signature Series too!)
