Well, I finally put on the headers that I bought a year ago. I purchased a set of headers from LMSWEST , and I modified them to fit the MARK, WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Now I need to finish the rest of the exhaust, so I can take it out for a ride. MY car is going to feel a little different now with the headers, fullexhaust, cold air intake, and 150 shot of nitrous. This post is just basically a little info on headers BUY THE KOOKS if you want headers.

How big a PITA was the install? I have a set of Kooks scheduled to go in.

Well , I thought the install was pretty easy. The hard part was making the BBKs fit the mark chassis. I did the install from underneath lying on my back on jack stands, I did not drop the k member or anything. a couple of the bolts are hard to tighten , but overall not to bad.

seems like your car is running pretty strong, hope I can get my car into the 12.90s with the mods I am in the process of finishing. my mods include a electric water pump, 4.30 gears,150 shot of nos, and soon to be a set of long tube headers with a complete exhaust. also cant forget my home made cold air intake ,on drag radials.

Wow I'm suprised you got them in fine without a new ragjoint. Tried dropping the new engine in today but those kooks headers werent even close to fitting. A new flaming river rag joint is on the way to solve that problem. Good luck with the new power and sound.

I have a new billet u-joint on order, it will be here on thur. the stock rag will not work with the longtubes.

That's good to know!

I do have new motor mounts, a Flaming River steering joint, oxygen sensor extensions, EGR delete kit and exhaust flanges for the install as well. I'M not doing the install, but was curious whether the work was going to be 4 hours or 8 hours at the shop rate.

At least they have a lift.

With that much power adder and supporting mods, you should easily get deeper in the 12's.

I hope to hit deeper in the 13's naturally aspirated as time goes on. The headers are just part of what's in the works.
