heated/cooled seats

hey guys, I just bought a 03 aviator and I am very happy about it,it is a great vehicle, but there is a little thing that is bothering me. On the passenger side the heated/cooled seat button doesn't work, it doesn't even come on at all, no light. I have read a thread here with several people having the same problem and one guy actually found the problem and fixed it. I didn't find enough info on that thread to repeat the procidure and fix it my self.
So if anyone knows what the deal is please send some information, i would really appreciate.

thanks

I had the same problem with my 03 Navigator. Check to see if when you press the button the fan comes on (under the seat) - if it does then it’s just the switch itself and that's very easily replaced through the dealer. If you press the button and you don't hear the fan - then that's a bigger problem within itself.

In my case, it was just the switch itself and the dealer replaced it for me.

Hope this helps.

I have those seats too and to me they don't seem to get hot at all. I had them looked at by the dealers twice on the computer and they say the seats are fine.

Does yours get real hot???
