IMRC debate...

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I will be picking my 93 DOHC up here fairly soon and am debating what to do with the IMRC's. This will be going into a modded 95 T-Bird. My old engine finally is nearly dead (after 4 years of nitrous/mods on one of the worst 4.6's made), and knew the DOHC was the way to go.

My question is if I should keep the IMRC's or not, I will need a controller if I do keep them so they will properly open and close. Otherwise I think I should delete them. I know I will be losing torque at lower rpm's but would I be losing a lot or just a little? Also I have 3.73's, a built trans with a stall, and will be staying the nitrous route (debating staying at a 125 shot or up'ing the ante to 150. )

Most I know with a power adder and gears will choose to delete the IMRCs.
