Engine detailing question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Does anyone from round my area know a good place to go to get my engine detailed. Its just too dang cold out to do it myself.

Sorry, not in NJ.

I have a place in Charleston, SC and everytime I visit I go to ashop called Liquid Highway - damn they are good. I had my LSC done over the holidays I swear the car was brand new when they were done. They even waxed the outside, inside, engine, trunk - even detailed the spare tire - all for $69. The engine looked great. They did knock some paint off my pealing Cross Over tube.
They got my inside so clean they even got little 'Q'-tips and cleaned the A/C vents. Windows were spotless, not a streak or smear.

Here in VA most places are not very good, using old dirty water, they pay a min wage so you get a min job. The lines can be 3-4 hours for $30 and you get a dirt streaked, glass smeared - moldy smelling car, but the tires are shiny!

Me too...

I'd save it for the Spring time. You're gonna drive the car in the snow/ice and salt, and the engine's gonna get all dirty in a hurry.

FC Kerbeck sells those cars Andy. Just get yourself a nice 4 inch brush, a gallon of simple green and be done with it. It will take you 30 minutes tops. Especially with this being the last day in the 50's. Just do it. You saw my engine. Thats a simple green job every 2 weeks or so.
