Suggest adding an edit button. Maybe we have one and am just a dumb and cant find the edit button

Posted by: JoshMcMadMac

There is an edit button. However, if you start a thread and someone responds to it, the thread starter can no longer edit the initial post. At least that is how it has been for me. Otherwise you can edit all you want. It is in the lower right hand corner next to the "Reply" button.

im going to reply just to check this out
edit: and u are correct

Posted by: Joeychgo

yes, there is a little glitch in the software......... The reply button on the bottom right is actually to QUOTE --- the Post Reply on the bottom left or top left, just adds a post to the thread without quoting.

okay i am now facing the same problem again. my edit button isnt present?
is there a time limit that we have for editing?
i can edit this post it seems but not some of my others

Posted by: Joeychgo

yes there is a time limit ---like 10 minutes ater you submit the post..

Posted by: Kbob

There is a time limit, Biocow, I believe it's 10 minutes.

EDIT: Joey beat me to it.

p.s. I've also noticed that if you edit your post immediately after you post the original, the edit line will not show up on the bottom of the editted post. FYI

Well me, I write it fast and then read it and have to go back and make an improvement! I left out something or maybe said to much. . .
