I was thinking about it and some of the LS's speaker configuration's make no sense. I have the Alpine Sport Audio system In my car and as far as I can tell there are 8 speakers 4 5x7's in the doors, 2 6x9's in the deck lid, and 2 tweeters in the center console (wtf). On Lincolns page it says the THX system is a 10 speaker system and the audiophile has 12 .Well what I cant figure out is where in the world do they cram 4 MORE speakers . I know the THX deletes the ones in the center but really where could they fit them, ok some tweeters on the doors maybe but where could the other two go. None of this really matters but I'm curious and I don't like not being able to figure things out.

One other thing in my manual it shows a pic of my head unit on page 30 and above it it says Alpine Audiophile, Alpine Sport Audio, and Premium Alpine Audio. since they all use the same HU I can only assume there is a difference in the speakers or amps is this right and if so dose anyone know what the differences are.

the door speakers are considered 2 each, so 8 speakers in all doors. why they consider it that i don't know. and the center consoles are 3.5" for future reference

Your kidding right that's just stupid a two way speaker is still just one speaker no matter how you look at it. Stupid marketing
