Too Many Icons On Nav Screen

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Ric

This happened once before and someone from NavTech told me how to fix it, but I stupidly didn't write it down. I just got off the phone with them again, only this time the person I spoke to was as clueless as me. I called up restaurant icons on the navigation screen and, in my area, there are like ten restaurants on every block, so now I have dozens of icons overlapping and completely obscuring the map. I've gone through the menu over and over, looking for a way to delete the things, but I'm having no luck. Restore system default doesn't do it, they just pop back up. Does anybody know how to clean up this screen?

Thanks again...even more helpful. When I was on hold for a half hour listening to the NavTech "tech" read through the same manual I had, I interupted her to say I was going to post the question here because I knew someone on this forum would know the answer. Much appreciated.

LOL what did the tech say I wonder

But if you think the voice commands in the car are cool you should download Opera Browser 9 Preview 2 and play with the voice commands there

So when I want to log in here all I say is "Opera Login" and it automticlly logs me into the forums, cool stuff.
