What's going on people? I'm a newbie to all of this. What I need to know is if there is somewhere on the net where I can find out what the service codes mean? I know how to bring up a list of current or past codes, but I have no way of determining their meaning. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could give me as much as a link to a list of codes and their meanings for the 98 seville. Thanks In Advance.

Here are the code explanations for OBD-II equipped models. Go down to the “GM Diagnostic Trouble Code Lists" and you will see links to the various code explanations.
If you have a digital camera that shoots video, run the codes then capture it all with your camera. They come and go way too fast and you'll find yourself second guessing the numbers. With the video you can pause and wite down everything without worrying if you missed a digit.

Hey guys. Thanks alot for your help. I kept having history of certain codes, and I had no idea what it meant. I was especially alarmed when it said "no IRC data", but that's because I've changed the factory radio. Again Thanks.
