Well, its that time again. Im selling one/both of my cars and gonna get something "new". But before i make my decision on what to get, i want to get a new motor first, so i know what to look for in a vehicle. Currently I have a 1970 Monte Carlo (non SS454) in my sights. She has a 305, which will need to be replaced (i say needs to because ... 305 ... need i say more?) I may be getting my hands on a 427 from a 69 vette through a friend of a friend, but i dont want to put all my eggs...bla bla bla...Mostly im looking for a big block chevy, or a big small block (383,400)(and perhaps a 350). Just puttin the hook in the pond, see'n what i can catch. Thanks for your help anyone.

Awesome on the part, ill be calling you when im done typing this...but im not looking for anything crazy, just like a stock big block. 427 is actually what im looking mainly at. I have one i may get from a 69 vette, the guy wants 1500 for it, running 100%
