i just bought a 2000 cadillac seville STS and i am intersted in modificating the car to get more horses or better gas millage. are there any products out there that can do either of those that wont cost me a grand? o have been looking at the Turbonator, does anyone have one of those? do they work? if this same thread has already been posted, give me the link. thanks

I have a 2000 STS too, I read that any horsepower gains are not worth the cash and trouble except maybe a fresh air intake mod.

It seems to me that the final drive is geared more for accelleration instead of MPG. A more highway friendly gear ratio would help mileage, but it sure would dampen that 'throw you back in the seat' accelleration. I have not seen any info on that kind of mod and I never really messed with differentials. Maybe somebody else knows where to look?

He's right other than a more agressive exhault system the only other alternative could be nitrous but not for under 1000K but there is a guy on the Caddy forum who is boring out throttle bodies and selling them for a good price. The tornado has been argued to be a useless piece of tin as well as K&N air filters at least as far as the N* is concerned.
