For some reason It seems that the AC in my 2005 navigatior takes a long time for the temperature control to start regulating the temperature. The temperature gets too hot for along time before it starts cooling down to set point. What's going on????

but i've had 2 probs with my AC so far...

1st thing was the condensation line wasn't wrapped properly and it leaked water into the cabin...(brand new 05 with no miles...)

2nd...which is happening now.. it SQUEEKS! grr! dang it every 30 seconds or so the AC belt or something chirps...that or the compressor..prolly the belt..drives me crazy! even at 80mph i can still make out the faint squeek...

Found the problem. I don't know if it came from the factory like that or the dealer did some work an left it off. The refrigerant line (suction line) under the hood did not have any insulation causing it to absorb all the heat from the engine. I bought some armor flex and went to town insulating the suction line. Now the AC cools the cab down in no time to setpoint and maintain set point with no problems.
