Continental or the Mark VIII

if I was to put both of my cars in a race, which one do you think will win? I have done two races and one time,the mark won by one car lenght. The second time, the conti beat the mark by 1/2 a car lenght. so if you were sitting in the conti, I could see the headlamp of the mark right next to me.This race is ging to be up till abot 65 mph. So which car do you think will win?

Hard to say it would depend on how good a start either car got!!!!

my money would be on the Mark VIII.
mainly cuz it has about 30 more HP.

you should let the race end at 100 not 65, the reason is i notice with my car that i feel the torque starts to open up at around 65. so letting off at 65 is not doing the mark justice, let the race go longer and you will see the mark pull top end! 30HP more and RWD vs FWD!

so the 0-60 of the conti is better? and look at it this way, conti is four door and lesser hp.

I say the conti, It has FWD, better "right of the bat" take off from the start.

Take your mark up to about 38-40 mph so it will kickdown into 1st, and Im sure you could probably take the conti.
