New LS6 Owner

Just wanted to say hey to everyone, i'm new to the LS as well as the domestic scene. I've been a car enthusiast for some number of years now, and I was drawn to the LS because of it's incredibly sexy physique and the fact that I know the owner of the dealer where I got it (for a steal!)

I just have one question, how long should the break in period be for my car? it's got 30mil on it, and I know that I shouldn't push the engine until I get about 500, but I just wanted a confirmation on that.

Thanks guys!!

Welcome and congrats on your new LS.

I don't remember off the top of my head, but 500-1000 miles is probably a good initial break-in. But I'd wait until after that first oil change @ 3000+ miles to really let 'er have it on a regular basis.
