What's up guys,I've been trolling around the boards for a bit. Tons of great info. I'm also 2kSVT on www.contour.org, I drive a 2000 silver frost Contour SVT. My wife gets to drive the black 2000 LS v8 sport. The LS has been running like crap lately and has oil smell coming in the passenger compartment. From what I've been reading here,I bought the "get the bugs out year"! I'm going to change the plugs and look for leaks. I've already printed Quik LS's how-to..bravo. Is there a side (valve cover gasket) that is more likely to be the leaky one? I'll be digging in this weekend. Looks like a great site.

I changed the plugs, they were shot! I had ioil in 2 of the wells on the passenger side and 1 on the driver's side. I'll be ordering the gasket kits soon. The LS is back in the performance area. I took it out on the highway and opened it up. The "spirited" 25 to 110 on ramp sprint let me know she appreciated the new plugs. Thanks for all the info on this site.
