It is simply amazing that some people just don't realize that the unwarranted attack on our Country, 2001/09/11, did, in fact, happen.

It was an ACT of WAR on the United States of America.

Now these people want to give terrorists "rights." Let's PROTECT them.

What is it with you "people?”

These terrorists want to take your life, in an instant, and you want to protect them.

Has the left gone that far downhill that they need to spew this nonsense?

For what, to try to steal the next elections?

Are you really THAT desperate?

Does this post have a point? Are you referring to all the media coverage of torture? If so, who's to say that some of the people being tortured are not innocent. Is it OK to torture 5 innocents to get to one terrorist? Besides, until the US fully releases the details of what actually happened on 9/11, I don't buy anything they say or do.

Your premise is flawed. There is no evidence whatsoever that we've had to torture anybody, let alone 5 innocents per terrorist. You're parroting partisan liberal rhetoric kool-aid soundbites.

SKIP It, OK?

His point is pretty clear. If anyone is looking to argue Vita directly, he's stated a position, without shielding himself with someone elses editorial.

He's clearly making refrence to the Terrorism protectio act advanced by McCain and the Democrats. This is the bill that ties the hands of the nation while also convincing the rest of the world that we actively engage in torture tactics.

Sorry, I was drunk last night. And what I meant was that with all the media coverage of torture lately, I figured that is what he was talking about. And I'm sure that we do engage in torture tactics, although these tactics are probably not as extreme as some would like to think when they hear the word "torture". I do think that there is way too much coverage about this whole issue though. And I also wasn't attacking Vitas as much as I was trying to figure out what his rant was trying to say.

Torture, by the new American definition, includes the barbaric acts of playing Eminem albums and making someone sit in a chilly room.
