turn signal flasher location

can anyone tell me where the turn signal flasher is located, my manual and the dealer say its under the driverside dash, i found the 4 way flasher there but cannot find the turn signal flasher. thanks

renhod, my book also says it's between the column and left kick panel. On other cars I have found the flasher fastened to the gas peddle side of the steering column, sometimes very close to the dash (even when the book says different). Good luck and let us know where you found it.

so u know, it's on the door side next to the steering column, way up out of sight, have to feel for it. replacement at napa was $13.00.
