awhat is seafoam ,is it good for the car,what does it do and how do you use it

Seafoam will put any other fuel add to shame. It is the best thing man has ever made for gas add's. I use it on everything. You could pull a 1970's 302ci out of a corn field and put seafoam in it and crank it over. Best stuff on earth.

I think 3 ways

in the gas tank, in the oil, suck it up in the vaccum hose (power brake hose)

all this is on the back of the can

if you suck it up into the vacuum hose, shut the engine down while it is still sucking, and then start the bitch up after 10 minutes of sitting, it will blow all of the carbon out of your engine, giving you more power, and a hell of a lot better fuel economy. But if you do this, change your oil right after, because the carbon that gathers around the pistons and rings will fall off into the oil pan.

1. Vacuum Hose treatment, sea foam in your gas tank
2. pour 1/3 can into your crankcase
3. Change your oil

With this, you will have one healthy ass engine that will smoothly for a good long time.

so I was thinking about getting my oil converted from the conventional to synthetic. you think I could sit outside the oil shop and do this, and then have them change the oil?

Ok, make sure that your engine is warm. It is easier with two peolpe then one, so if you can get someone to help you it be great. First put 1/3 to 2/3 of the can in a container. Then pull out this

this is where you are going to suck your seafoam through. pull this out and then start the engine. this is the part you would need two peole.if someone can start the engine for you and you can suck it through. If the engine stops before,just let the person try to start the engine and you can suck the rest in. put this back in and wait for 20-25 mins or so. Then try to start your engine. It will take some time but IT WILL START.after it starts, rev your engine to 3000-4000 rpm.do this for about 10 secs or so and then drive the car like hell. This is to get the seafoam out of your engine. Hope this helps. If you have any questios about this, you can PM me.

I just seafoamed the 92 cougar, and the 94 Jimmy.. talk about a smoke screen! neither had been done before (165k on cougar, 178k on jimmy)... they both run better and smoother now than before.. Also used about 1/3 can in the crankcase of the cougar to quiet a sticky lifter.. will probably have to do it again at next oil change. I put it in, drove car till engine fully warmed, then changed oil/filter. it still ticks, but not as loud now, if still ticking at next oil change, will repeat process.

Yea, and putting in the tank.. great way to keep the fuel system clean.

You don't have to change your oil IMMEDIATELY, just drive easy (no redline antics) and do it within 100 miles and you will be fine.

Shouldn't you also change your plugs pretty soon after you clean your intake manifold? Mine where pitch black after I sucked it up through the PCV. I also had ALOTTTT of smoke though. It's awesome, but make sure you don't take it on a busy road with cars behind you like I did.

Yeap, I forgot to mention that. It will likely foul the hell out of your plugs.
