Hey all, i have kind of a stupid question for you guys. On a 97 non lsc mark, do the sunroofs slide back, or just raise and lower?

mine will raise and lower, similar to the older manual style, but not slide back, any ideas on how to fix this, or were to start. it doesn't look like there is anything wrong with the track.

Does it look like it is going down all the way when you close it. If it isn't, It don't let you slide back. I say this cause my gen1 sticks alot both ways. In other words if I have it slid back and close it, it doesn't always make it to the closed position. I have to push the button several times. Same if I'm in the vented position, It'll stick closing. Kinda like your discribing.

Not For Nothing As Stupid As It Soounds Try Wd-40.. I Havea 98' And S0 Soo Far Wd40 Works On Stupid Lil Things Such As Door Latches...you Never Know It Could Cause Stupid Shhit Like Moon Issues,remember Coldness Doess Play A Factor....
Lil Things Does Go Along Way!

it will pop up and vent, but i doesn't even try to slide back, i did try wd40, but to no avail. Thanks for the help everybody?
