Car Is Accellerateing on it's own?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

It's a 2001 dts and when it's in drive and or revirse it accelerates on it's own does anyone know what it can be...

If you mean it rolls forward or backward slowly, it's supposed to do that, I've never seen an automatic transmission car that doesn't. If it goes more than 2-3mph without throttle input, then you have a problem and you should have it checked out.

well i have a problem then cuz it goes up to about 30mph on it's own...
service trans. light came on...

Sounds like your transmission's electronics are going bad and causing a very dangerous condition. I do not know about newer Cadillacs, so I can't help you solve the problem, but someone else should be able to help you.
