Newbie, but oldie

I have been scouring this forum for a while now. I used the search button, and it helped to answer a majority of my questions. I have a few issues with my "project" 2000 LS V8 that I can hopefully get assisted with. My main vehicle is my Monte Carlo SS (pic):
