Can i take it?

I got a kid i need to put in his place, hes got a stock 1990 Nissan 300ZX...i dont know anything about foreign jobs, is that a car i can take, and stomp?

well a na 300zx will be cake...espeacially the first year production of that motor...have fun...also is it a five speed? if so, he's prolly a high 14.

As long as it's not the twin-turbo model you should be fine. Even then it'd still be a good race...

You will smoke him if it's NA. He might keep up off the line a bit because you can't launch without spinning, but after that it's all Mark VIII 4.6 DOHC top end power.

yeah, you'll walk him bad in the big end...just race to your trap speed if you got the room to run...that way you know that you could say you raced to your fullest...now if this kid is one of those highway race idiots...then your going to own him bad.

even the 300zx TT are useless after 110mph...the turbo's are maxxed out by then....a friend of mine owns one and we do alot of work on it.

but if it was a TT you'll be having to play catch up.

Im going to assume its a NA model if its in

ty shape. Usually the TT models are really well taken care of.

A NA one would be a piece of cake, auto or 5spd, but a TT would romp us like no ones business.

yeah, its not tt...and even if it was...the condition its in, id think the turbos would have siezed up, lol. Ill try and track him down and get a good race outa him, and do a vid on it. Dont worry, ill get my new tires b4 i do, so i can stomp him with my supposed 14.5 ability

u guys are giving the NA too much credit. I have personally seen them run 15.1-15.5 and thats it.

i was just going by what my buddy did before we swaped the TT motor in....with a drop in k&n filter he pulled a 14.8 at BEST...normally he would hit a high 14.9x

i for one love the 300zx, its one of my fav. jap cars and i'll have to say, he will be a challenge. they can look like beaters but nissans are tough, so just watch out.

You'll eat him up my friend had a 300ZX with racing cams, intake, and exhaust and it was pretty much even with my bone stock Mark
