Yet another air suspension question.

Do front struts from a 1997 fit a 1995? They look different.

i am pritty sure gen 1 fits gen 2 and backword......
so yes and i think its a better spring type fellin ur get outta the gen 2

they are in fact interchangeable.

The later version looks like it has a plastic portion at the bottom where the older one used to turn to rust.

You would be correct....they changed to plastic, but the newer front struts/bags ride better than the older ones. They are all interchangeable.....

I take it solenoids will fit no problem? It looks like the plastic would make them last longer

Is the procedure the same for changing the airbags vs. coil conversion? I wonder because it seems that the airbag compresses easier than the spring.
I wonder if you still have to disconnect the control arm.
