I got a 03 Nav Ultimate with 44K on it. So far I really like it.

How many miles you guys got on yours?

I think I'm going to take it N to see if they can warranty my seats since they don't get hot or cold. Any suggestions???

04 with about 20k

2000 with just under 32K. I just took it to SW Wisconsin for the Deer hunt. Great ride, firm but smooth. 14.4 mpg on the way home.

Can I ask if anyone who has a 2003 and up body style tell me if their doors "shudder" when going over bumps-almost as if they are not installed right. I have had over twenty repairs on my 2003 and I just hit 40,000 miles. Dealerships want to penalize me because they know it has a history and I lost my buyback through the BBB. They only want to offer me a couple G less than book value. Not to mention it is they blk on blk int, very sought after. Any help would be nice.

Posted by: WaynesNside

My doors don't really do it bad, they might make a lil noise over some heavy bumps. Not really sure, I haven't paid that much attention.

Just put a grille on last weekend, looks like this one

Took delivery of my 2004 Ultimate 11/1/2004. Just turned 4,300 on the Garage Queen.

Hi New here,
I Missed having a truck for 2 years. I used to own a 1994 Eddie Bauer Bronco, (purchased new). Sold it in 2001 when I leases a ML 430. (peice of Sh%$t). I missed the Bronco. So I went looking for a 96 Bronco and looked a Navigator sitting next to a 96 Bronco. OK no brainer hear.. Or at least from my wifes perspective. Plus with two kids it made sense to look at a 4 door. So,
I just purchased my 2004 Lincoln Navigator on Oct 25, 2005. Oxford white, and fully loaded, whith 18" chrome wheel. I love the power running boards, touch screen Navigation with 2005 Rev software, and my kids love the DVD player and rear captain chairs. Oh yeah, 9,100 mile. Plus 6/75 mile warranty(Certified Lincoln dealer). My wife loves this truck. For me, I have no clue what I was thinking when I wanted my old Bronco back. Must be a momentary laps of stupidity. I love this truck... Now to add on the extras...Will post pics soon...

Thanks
Bob

Just picked up an '04 Navi Ultimate with 25,000 miles. LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Posted by: WaynesNside

Still going pretty good with no problems...my seats don't get really hot but the dealer says they are fine...not sure but the thing runs real good.

Doors to make the noise over bumps, I'm going to take them apart when I can and see if there is any adjustments N there.

Drove my new 04 off the lot 11/1/04. Just turned 6,300 miles. It's my "Garage Queen".

Posted by: Navigatorboyz

Yeah, I got an 03' Navigator ULTIMATE. You could call it an 04' considering it was made just near the end of the year 2003, starting of 2004. It has everything, and we got 22 inch american racing dubs on it. Haha, ballin. Mine is white, really nice, got the entertainment system, 6 disk cd changer, navigation, running boards (powered). It is fully loaded, just got it chromed out, starting with the side mirrors, and the gas cap, and a new chrome grill, also a new exhaust. It's an expensive truck, and looks way better than an escalade, which I was thinking of buying, until I saw the Navigator. We bought ours in 2003, for $90,000, straight from the dealer. Looks ready for a rap video with all the chrome on it!

Posted by: stang99x

I hope $90K was a typo. If it wasn't, I'll be glad to sell you your next one.

Posted by: lexmarkz00

Who in their right mind would pay $90,000 for a Navigator. Even the Sean John Navigator was only $85,000... and even then, for that kind of money, you'd be stupid to not buy a Range Rover or G-Class... *slaps you*

Baallliiiin! *makes hand motion*

Posted by: Navigatorboyz

Even if it was $90K it still is a reasonable price for this truck. I mean to own one, you pay something along the lines of that. This SUV is worth every dollar. Stop Hating.

Did you say you paid $90,000 for a 03 Navigator???????? I think somebody got ripped off. I own a 05 Ultimate, and I paid about $36,000 after tax and tags

Posted by: Navigatorboyz

Umm.. I bought it in the beginning of 2003, straight from the dealership in Canada. It is an ultimate, and it had a typical showroom SUV milage on it. So I really didn't get ripped off, it's got all of the features. It's still worth a lot now in Canada.

Posted by: lexmarkz00

OH! You meant $90,000 CANADIAN... you should've mentioned that from the beginning (to keep people from thinking you're a dumbass for spending $90,000 USD on a Navigator).

Posted by: slipperyslope

I am a newbie here. Just picked up an 03 with 24,000 miles, $29,990, looks like new- same color scheme as rollin's- Seems like it has every option except the navigation system, I don't knw what makes one an ultimate. I knew I wanted the 07 wheels on it soon as I saw them. I will have to check out the 06 grill and bumper, although I got this vehicle after selling a supercharged 04 gt mustang vert that put way too much money into, lost my butt when I sold it. Anyway nice to met everyone and I will use the search function before I ask a lot of questions you all have already answered, there are some real nice looking vehicles on here.

03 Ultimate, black on black. 38k miles, just got it last week $10k with 100k warranty and a trade. LOVE it, but my seats don't heat and cool right either, the dealership said they fixed them. Right. I guess I did get spoiled with the butt bakers Chevrolet put in the 05 TahoeZ71's.

As for noise, I am hearing lots of creaks from the middle console. Pisses me off, but alot of the creaks I'm hearing could be from the cold weather and expansion/contraction of the plastic. I hate creaks and squeaks.

Posted by: Lincoln Luebbe

If you torque down the bolts in the bottom of the rear center console it should help with the noise. We had a 2003 and that was fixed that way. We had it from 17000 miles to 43000 miles and I ended up getting rid of it because it seemed every week something new went wrong with it. No shuddering from your doors? Mine literally sounded like they were shaking when I would go over any little bump in the road. I truley never new how irregular roads were until I bought that Lincoln. It was by far the noisiest vehicle I have ever rode in. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Lincoln, but I wouldn't take that particular car back for $100.00. Traded for a Zephyr, lost about $10000.00 on trade in. The funny thing is they wanted to affer me less than trade in market because the new my car had a "repair history." Post pics if you can-and good luck with yours!!

Even if he did spend 90K CDN on it, back then that would calculate to 68.5 K US. Based on the December 2003 Average exchange rate.

Maybe he still overpayed for it?

Thank you for the information on the console bolts. As for the doors, when I test drove it, I thought they sounded "cheap" when I closed them. But, coming out of Chevrolet trucks that have a little weight in the doors, I'm getting used to it. I like a solid sound when I close the door, and one of my pet peeves is people SLAMMING my vehicle doors, no reason for that. I'm sorry you had bad luck with yours, I'm hoping for the best with mine, as I plan to have it until the wheels fall off. I have never driven an SUV as comfortable as this and "fits" me. Here are some crappy pictures, can't wait until the weather is cooperative and I can take some better ones. Thank you for your help.

Beautiful truck. I still think they are the best looking vehicle on the road. We had a black with black interior also. Again, good luck with yours!

Posted by: WaynesNside

My doors still rattle like s SOB and I still have yet to fix my seats to get hot. I added some xdrilled/slotted rotors all around and they look good through my 24s. Still run really good without a problem so I'm happy for that. I love the towing with this thing though. A good amount of power but it's fallling behind with all of the new SUVs coming out now.

Posted by: 08Navi

We had a '04 with door problems too. There was a TSB for a fix years ago, but basically it was the outside plastic pieces that would rattle. Fords fix was to place some foam back there. I remember also using some double sided tape between the plastic and the door skin and that helped.

Also the truck was noisy, especially in the winter, but as for squeaks it was much quieter than the brand new Chevy Avalanche I road in this summer. Oh my goodnes and it was warm out.

BTW we had out Navi from new until we sold it with 75k miles. Got a new '08 a couple of months ago. So far we like the looks of our old one (Black on gray ultimate with monotone), but I love the six speed tranny. Good luck with it.
