Economical Tires - 97 Cont.

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hey Guys,

This is my first time posting on the Cont. thread, I usually follow the LS one. For some reason, the search button won't drop down for me. I have a 97 Cont. that my little sister is driving while in town. The car needs new tires and we really don't have much of a budget for them as I don't drive the car often at all and need tires on my main car too.

Does anyone know of a good set of tires for a 97 Continental that are economically priced or have any reccomendations? TireRack lists Kumho's and Dunlop's as the cheapest, but I have never tried either one. I just want to be sure my sister's safe.

Avon Tyre. 225/55/16 will do, and Tire Rack lists that size for $93 each...

I agree these are pretty good for the price. Not too loud. The Dunlops are noisy.
