I went to the track tonight hoping to break the 100mph barrier and/or get into the 13's with my new gear and posi setup... my jaw dropped when I got my 1st timeslip of the night:
2.125
5.887
8.982 at 79.6mph
11.639
13.880 at 101.31mph !
This was launching off idle on street tires. Stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifolds and exhaust piping, stock tranny and converter. Raceweight 4050lbs. Weather was pretty decent tonight somewhere in the 60's and 70-80% humidity. I only got 2 other runs tonight because there were too many cars. Next run I tried to launch at 1500rpm and spun crazy with a 2.7 60 foot time. I aborted that run. Next run my car was heatsoaked from turning the car on and off in the staging lanes for like 45min so it was down on power. I managed to get a 2.0 60 foot time but instead of running a 13.7 I ran a 14.2 at only 98.5mph. I shortshifted the 2-3 shift at 6000rpm for some reason and the car was just not pulling as hard being heatsoaked.

Those ET's can be had with a 373 rear gear if 410-430's are to much gear for you. I like to drive on the highway alot 75-95 mph, so I went with a 373 Trac Loc. these cars love gear though.
