A pretty soild race today with a turbo

ok first let me start off by saying I don't know what car I raced.. it was either an old eagle talon or an older elclipse. anyways I saw him pull up to the light but we didn't have time to actually ackowledge eachother b4 the light changed so we both go normally but when we got up to about 10-15mph we realized we were gonna race so we punched it. I had him all the way to about 125 where we stopped, he never fell behind me and when I shifted into o/d I thought he would pass me but his bumper stayed right at my front window. anyways my exhaust is loud however I heard his turbo over it, specially everytime he shifted. it was one of the best races I have had in a long time.

he rolled down his window and asked what I had done, I was like pretty much stock except for gears headers and a chip. he told me he ran a high 12 sec in the 1/4 but it was all off the line.. he said he would've had easily 2 car lenghts on me if he knew we were gonna race off the line... but like I said the light changed way too fast to even start a race.. he was cool and we only talked for a few at the next light.. then I turned.

yeah some of those early 90's mitsubishi turbos run low low 14's STOCK! says alot for turbocharging.

Actually it was a sleeper in all senses... it didn't look that good, I mean it wasn't totally beat up but it wasn't in the best of shape. he told me he upgraded the turbo but didn't go into that much detail. his car was pretty fast and I'm sure he would've taken me from the line... it was actually fun cause during the race he would gain and then fall back a lil and then gain again he actually stayed right besides me the whole time just about.
