Need HELP Installing Fuel Pump

I own a 95' MK 8. I have no clue how to change the fuel pump. Please help me out!! Thanks.

The quick instructions by memory:

Order a replacement pump from a company like Summit. There's little point in buying it from the dealership since it's probably manufactured by the same company anyway. It'll also cost about four times as much. The dealer pump will be considerably lower volume than the after market one, and it'll also include the cage that you really don't need.

Then you'll have to lower the fuel tank located in the middle of the car. You'll need to remove the cross braces under the tank and disconnect your exhaust.

You'll want to make sure you don't have a full tank, if not, the job will be more difficult than need be.

You remove the fuel pump assembly, take the old pump out of the cage, replace it with the new one, reconnect the wires and filter, and put it all back together.

It's a total pain in the butt. But I did it, without any previous experience, in my driveway, with the car up on four jack stands.

Try this on the replacement of the fuel pump. There is step-by-step directions and a link to pix I took also.
