Just put in NEW Headlights!!!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just put in 2 new headlight housings (not HID) from Max 5 Star Ford and the HIR lights w/the relay kit from Dan Stern Lighting....looks really nice! I finally can feel comfortable driving at night again. I reccommend anyone that needs new lights to do what I did. $385 including shipping for housings, and about $220 for all 4 Halogen Infared bulbs with the relay kit. So it was alot cheaper than HID, and very satisfied. How can I get extra metal clips for the back of the housing? The ones that you need a c-clip pliers for. I broke 2 of mine. Thanks, and I hope I helped anyone that is in the position I was in.

Yeah, I'll try and post some pics. Last time I tried to get pics up it didn't work, but I'll figure it out.

sounds like this might be a great alternative to forking over 1g for HID's when all we want is to be able to see at night.

400.00 more and you could have had HID's.

The price I got from Maxx was a little over $1100. But he said that if I had to replace a bulb it's $180 for just one plus i have to find a place to mount the ballasts....for the HID's. So that persuaded me even more to go the route I went. But I'm 100% satisfied and don't need anymore light than what I have. For $500 less, I'm happy with my choice.

I have a brand new of set factory headlights for sale if you know somebody else that needs new one's these have all new sylvania bulbs too, 300.00 plus 15.00 S/H. I bought them then decided to go with HID's. which is what I wanted to begin with.

btw I got mine from 5 star for 1045.00 delivered back in march.look at pic for ballast location.
