My ac does not work. the compressor gets sweaty in the summer so i don't think there's a leak. The heat from the climate control works great goes on and off at the temp its set to but the ac blows only warm air. The dope who had it before me had a jump wire micky moused from the compressor to a switch on the dash, he must have used this to bypass the climate control module. He had the feed stuck on one of the fuses. I removed it because it kept blowing fuses for engine fans and I didn't want the dash to go on fire.
If the climate control works for the heat could the a/c problem still be in the climate control unit? I'd like to fix it correctly.
It's a great car and I'd buy another in a heartbeat but you know how leather gets in the summer heat.
I realize this post is very convoluted but I was trying give as much info as possible.
Thanks
P

Okay I am going back I once worked on a town car with the same problem behind the dash is a acuator that moves a door to adjust the cold from the hot or blend. That was the problem with that one they are the same system. It's a pain that probaly is it since you said the system was condensing up i'm assuming you ac lines one was cold and the other was hot.
