Pulling Problem

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hello- I have a beautiful 99 Continental that runs like a well tuned rocket. My problem is that when I let off the accelerator I get a strong pull left. When I accelerate I get a strong pull right. I have new tires on it and have had them removed and switched around. We ruled out bad tires. The alignment has been checked 3 times and is within specs. The suspension has been checked over twice and one tie rod end was replaced but I have the same pull/push problem.

I am in sales and primarily drive on the highway and the push/pull is getting annoying. What else should my dealer look at? Any help will be appreciated!!!

Thanks,

Mike

brakes draggin???

Did you check your brakes or bearings? Both could cause a pull and at highway speeds and slight pull would just be intensified.

I have checked the brakes and all was okay. I have not checked the bearings. I'll do that soon. Thanks for the tip.
