I got a problem in my STS 1998 that is

I got a problem in my STS 1998 that is

it is showing service charging system and battery not charging but the battery meters shows 16.2 volts

and when i am turnning the ac and on driving gear the engin shakes istantly and gose normal again this happines while not driving (standing on)

note : the lights gose darker while standing on and brighter when traviling

please sugest

i can see that the main engine built is littel un tight

please advice

i would check the altenator, it's probably going bad.

16.2 sounds too high! There is a problem in the charging system somewhere. Any shop should be able to diagnose it for just a few bucks...
