bought another Mk8 and 4k to spend on it

Ok so i made the comment about mk8's never being fast. I changed my mind on what im gonna do. everyone knows I just bought a mk8 with 39k miles on it now, and its my daily driver. I really didn't want to mess with this car so... I bought another Mk8 this morning with 70k miles on it, and i have about 4k to drop into it. I would like to do cams, Nos, P&P, and maybe a supercharger. A friend of mine has a 5.4 ford lightning motor with 36k miles on it. would i be crazy for even trying to attempt this? it already has head work, aftermarket supercharger pulley, and a diablo chip. Oh and he has the tranny to go with it and all the harness's and BS. so info if you have any on what you would do to the car and the money. and BTW the seats, and carpet are comming out, and floors, trunk, and hood are all gonna be cut out, and im gonna panel the car to drop some weight. thanks for the info!
