1984 Cadillac Eldorado Roadster

I have a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado which was my dad's. It has been in the garage for the best part of 15 years. It is in excellent shape with only 60k. miles. I have one problem , It has never run right, it has no power and overheats slightly. Everyone who has fixed it has never gotten it to run right. It has the 4.1L engine. a bad engine! It has an aluminum block with cast iron heads. bad design. I was thinking of finding a swap for it . like a Chevy 350. Are there any swaps for this engine. or will a 4.9L or 4.5L caddy engine fit in there. i welcome all responses. Rick
